Copyright & Artwork Usage Policy

At Gina Rees, every illustration begins with a little imagination, a love of the countryside and a whole lot of creativity.

Each piece of artwork is lovingly created and is an important part of my work as an artist and illustrator. I kindly ask that you respect the time, care and creativity that goes into bringing each illustration to life.

The following information explains how my artwork and illustrations may be used.

1. Copyright Ownership

All original paintings, illustrations, drawings, designs, characters and other creative artwork displayed on this website are the intellectual property of Gina Rees, unless otherwise stated.

This includes artwork featured in:

Original watercolour paintings
Illustrated books and publications
Calendars and diaries
Greeting cards and stationery
Colouring and activity books
Free downloadable colouring pages
Digital illustrations and website imagery

All original artwork is protected by applicable UK copyright laws.

2. Reproduction & Commercial Use

My artwork and illustrations may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or used for commercial purposes without my prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Reproducing illustrations on products or merchandise.
Selling prints or copies of my artwork.
Using my illustrations for business branding, advertising or promotional materials.
Uploading or distributing my artwork for commercial purposes.
Using my illustrations to create products for resale.

3. Purchasing Original Artwork

When purchasing an original painting or illustration, you are purchasing the physical artwork itself.

Purchasing an original piece does not grant permission to reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit the artwork.

4. Free Colouring Pages & Digital Downloads

I love sharing a little countryside magic, which is why I offer free printable colouring pages for families and little artists to enjoy!

These downloads are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

You are welcome to:

Download and print the colouring pages for personal enjoyment.
Print multiple copies for yourself or your children.
Share photographs of your completed colouring pages on social media, with credit to Gina Rees appreciated.

However, please do not:

Sell or commercially distribute the colouring pages.
Upload or redistribute the original PDF files on other websites or platforms.
Reproduce the illustrations on products for sale.
Use the illustrations for business or commercial purposes without permission.

Schools, nurseries, clubs and other organisations wishing to reproduce or distribute the colouring pages should contact me for permission beforehand.

If you'd like to share the colouring pages with friends or family, please direct them to my website, where they can download their own copies for free.

5. Books, Calendars & Printed Products

All illustrations featured in my books, calendars, greeting cards and other printed products remain protected by copyright.

Purchasing these products does not grant permission to reproduce or commercially use the artwork contained within them.

6. Website Content & Images

The original illustrations, artwork, photographs owned by Gina Rees and other original creative content on this website are protected by copyright.

Please do not copy, reproduce or commercially use protected content without permission, except where permitted by law.

7. Licensing & Permissions

I am always happy to hear from individuals, businesses and organisations interested in my artwork.

If you would like to discuss licensing an illustration, collaborating on a project or requesting permission to use my artwork, please get in touch through the contact page on my website.

All commercial use requires prior written permission.

8. Respecting Original Artwork
