I'm Gina Rees, an author, artist and illustrator with a love for storytelling, wildlife, nature and the wonderful world of farm life.

Through my children's books, original watercolour paintings and hand-illustrated creations, I love bringing a little countryside magic, imagination and colour into everyday life.

These Terms of Service explain the conditions for using my website and purchasing my products. Please take a moment to read them before placing an order.

By using this website or purchasing a product, you agree to the applicable terms set out below.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

3. Products & Descriptions

Every product in my shop is inspired by my love of the British countryside, animals, storytelling and illustration.

I take great care to ensure that product photographs, descriptions and information are as accurate as possible.

However, please be aware that:

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.
Original watercolour paintings may feature unique textures, finishes and hand-applied details.
Some original paintings include delicate touches of glitter or other decorative finishes.
Product dimensions, materials and specifications will be provided where applicable.
Original artwork is individually created and one of a kind unless otherwise stated.

I reserve the right to update product information, availability and prices where necessary.

If a significant error affects an order, I will contact you to discuss the available options.

4. Children's Books & Illustrated Publications

As an author and illustrator, my books and the stories within them are a very special part of my creative work.

My published children's books feature original stories, characters and illustrations inspired by my love of nature, animals and the countryside.

All original written content, illustrations and creative elements are protected by applicable copyright laws.

Purchasing a book gives you ownership of that physical copy but does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Unless permitted by law or authorised in writing, the stories, text and illustrations must not be reproduced, republished, commercially distributed or used to create products for resale.

I love seeing families enjoying my books, reading together and sharing the magic of storytelling.

5. Original Artwork & Paintings

My original paintings are lovingly created by hand, making each piece unique.

Unless otherwise stated, there is only one original of each painting available.

Some paintings may include glitter, textured details or other decorative finishes that make the original artwork especially distinctive.

When purchasing original artwork, you are purchasing the physical painting and any included frame or mount described in the product listing.

Purchasing an original painting does not grant permission to reproduce the artwork commercially.

6. Prices & Payments

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP), unless otherwise indicated.

The total price, including applicable taxes and delivery charges, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

Orders will only be processed once payment has been successfully authorised.

I reserve the right to change product prices at any time. However, price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

7. Placing an Order

When you place an order through my website, you will receive an email acknowledging your purchase.

An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

A contract is formed when I confirm acceptance of your order, normally through a dispatch confirmation or other express acceptance.

If I am unable to fulfil an order, for example because a product is unavailable or there has been a pricing error, I will contact you as soon as possible.

Where payment has already been taken for an order that cannot be fulfilled, an appropriate refund will be issued.

Please check your order details carefully before completing your purchase.

If you notice a mistake, please contact me as soon as possible.

8. Shipping & Delivery

I take great care when preparing and packaging every order, especially original paintings, books and delicate illustrated products.

Delivery options, shipping charges and estimated delivery times will be displayed at checkout or explained in my Shipping Policy.

Please ensure your delivery address is accurate when placing an order.

I will make reasonable efforts to dispatch orders within the stated processing times.

Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being formed.

If there is an unexpected delay, I will contact you where appropriate.

Responsibility for goods generally remains with me until they are delivered to you or a person you have nominated, subject to applicable law.

9. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

I hope you absolutely love your purchase, but I understand that sometimes things don't go quite to plan.

Your Right to Cancel

For most physical products purchased online, UK consumers have the legal right to cancel their order within 14 days after receiving the goods, without providing a reason.

If you wish to cancel, please contact me within the applicable cancellation period using the contact details provided.

You can notify me by email or another clear statement. You may also use the cancellation form at the end of these terms.

After notifying me of your decision to cancel, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Returning Items

If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, you will be responsible for the direct cost of return postage, provided this has been communicated before purchase.

Please package returned items carefully, particularly original paintings and framed artwork.

You may inspect an item as you would in a shop. However, a deduction may be made from the refund if handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning has reduced its value, where permitted by law.

Refunds

Where you exercise your statutory cancellation right, I will refund the amount paid for the goods and the applicable standard delivery charge.

If you selected a more expensive delivery service, the additional delivery cost may not be refundable.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

Where permitted by law, I may withhold the refund until I receive the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be processed within the applicable statutory timeframe.

Exceptions

Certain products may be exempt from change-of-mind cancellation rights, including qualifying personalised or custom-made items.

Original paintings are not automatically exempt simply because they are unique or one of a kind.

Any applicable exceptions will be explained where relevant.

Faulty or Damaged Products

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact me as soon as possible.

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under applicable consumer law.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.

10. Free Colouring Pages & Digital Downloads

I love sharing a little countryside magic, which is why I offer free printable colouring pages inspired by my illustrations, stories and love of wildlife.

These downloads are provided for personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

You are welcome to:

Download and print the colouring pages for yourself or your family.
Print multiple copies for personal use.
Share photographs of your completed colouring pages on social media, with credit to Gina Rees appreciated.

However, you must not, except where permitted by law or authorised in writing:

Sell or commercially distribute the PDF files.
Upload the original downloads to other websites.
Reproduce the illustrations on products for sale.
Use the artwork for commercial advertising or merchandise.
Redistribute the files as part of a commercial product or service.

Schools, nurseries, clubs and organisations wishing to reproduce or distribute the colouring pages should contact me for permission.

If you would like to share a colouring page with someone, please direct them to my website so they can download their own copy.

Paid Digital Products

If paid digital downloads are offered in the future, their description, compatibility requirements and any applicable cancellation rights will be explained before purchase.

Where immediate access to paid digital content affects statutory cancellation rights, the required express consent and acknowledgement will be obtained before supply.

11. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All original stories, illustrations, paintings, drawings, characters, designs and other creative content featured on this website are protected by applicable copyright laws.

Unless otherwise stated, the copyright in these original works belongs to Gina Rees.

This includes original creative content featured in:

Children's books
Original paintings
Calendars
Greeting cards
Colouring and activity books
Sticker sheets
Digital downloads
Website illustrations and other original creative materials

Purchasing a product does not transfer copyright or commercial reproduction rights.

My protected creative works may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

12. Privacy & Personal Information

Your privacy is important to me.
